DESCRIPTION

25% Glass Filled PTFE has better creep and wear resistance compared to Virgin PTFE, these properties are improved with the addition of a glass filler. This filler improves dimensional stability, slightly raises temperature limitations and improves creep resistance. It is white in colour and very rigid. It has a wide range of applications which makes use of its extreme chemical resistance, low coefficient of friction, excellent insulation properties and thermal stability up to 260°C.

 SERVICE

Virtually resistant to all corrosive chemicals – with the exception of fluorine, some flourochemicals and molten alkali metals. Anti-stick and non-flammable. Fatigue resistant (especially in applications which involve flexing or vibrations)

Max recommended temperatures : -200°C to +260°C

These temperature and pressure guides cannot necessarily be used

simultaneously and may not apply to all thicknesses.
